In 2017 we took time to disconnect from our familiar surroundings, explore beyond boarders & reconnect to the passion of making beautiful, sustainable products. While living out of a backpack we explored through South America, New Zealand & Sri Lanka. Outside of Arugam Bay Sri Lanka, we discovered 'Rice & Carry'. Their story became part of ours & one that reset our 'true north' for design, development & consumer principals.

With the help of 'Changing Tides Foundation' we we're able to put together this short story to share our experience in hope of impacting & inspiring others with the story of 'Rice & Carry'.

Amanda has long worked in the fashion industry and has seen the social impact it has had from unfair wages to poor working conditions as well as the environmental damage the industry causes everyday.
